Xanda Farms Limited is a privately owned, zero-grazing ranch established in 2021 with a commitment to its cows, empowerment of its host community and preservation of the environment. It is designed to be both a farm and a destination where innovative farming integrates hospitality and recreation to boost the agricultural value chain.

What began as a humble agribusiness on the vast grasslands of Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria, has grown into a purpose-driven enterprise committed to redefining livestock farming through innovation, sustainability, and sheer resilience. Founded by visionaries who believe in Nigeria’s capacity to feed itself and the world, Xanda Farms emerged in response to the stark realities plaguing the livestock sector—low milk yield, poor breeding practices, lack of data, heavy import dependency, and high unemployment.

The journey has been far from easy

Building a model farm (pilot scheme) in 2023 amidst an underdeveloped ecosystem required not just courage, but relentless determination. We have weathered the storms of bad roads, unavailable veterinary services and skilled labour, limited farm infrastructure, the floating of the naira resulting in high operational costs and cultural resistance to change. At every turn, we’ve encountered barriers that could have stalled progress. But each challenge only deepened our commitment to building a legacy that transcends farming—a legacy that feeds, employs, inspires, and endures.

Today, Xanda Farms Limited stands at the intersection of tradition and technology, blending indigenous knowledge with science. Our operations are powered by climate-smart practices with a strong belief in community empowerment. As the days go by, we are a step closer to implementing automated milking systems and digital livestock management tools. Watch this space as we blaze the trail!

Slowly but steadily, we are improving our livestock production processes, not only to meet the nutritional needs of Nigerians but also to place the country on the map as a competitive player in the global food system. With over 200 hectares of land, a growing herd, and a skilled team, we are scaling local capacity and investing in high-quality feed production to strengthen the entire value chain.

But our story is not just about animals and output—it’s about people. It's about creating jobs, reducing social unrest through zero-grazing innovations, empowering rural youth and women, and reviving communities through sustainable agricultural development.
